Happy New Year 2012

Wow, what a year! I will say this i have lazy and unfocused in many areas of my life. But the truth in this matter is i have rediscovered in myself new passions. One of this passions is the art of dance, belly dance to be more exact. It my stress relief from when life bites me in the rear. I have decided to dedicate this blog to that form of art. I know is very different twist on what i used to write about but it is what is i my heart. and maybe just maybe i will be inspired to be a better dancer or inspire someone to be a better dancer. your are most welcome to join me in my ups and downs as a student of this sensual and beautiful art form. Where Women Create

Today is the day bloggers every where are getting together to admire other bloggers craft or creative areas. I creative in many areas of my home. I make soaps and candles in my kitchen, blog in my office cut my paper crafts in front of the TV and so on. Creativity I think is something that comes from being made in the image of our creator. God's Art can be seen in the color and shape flowers and birds feathers in landscapes and water features and mountains in the face of a child. To many artist God's creation is a source of inspiration the reality is that all our surroundings have either a positive or negative effect. Today we will have a chance to see how many bloggers "creative hubs" motivates and inspire them in a positive way to create beautiful things. What inspires you to be creative?

Where Bloggers Create

Creativity, What does it mean? As an artist I have many inspirations but God is my favorite. I think of Him putting His hands in the dirt and molding Adam to His image and then breathing life to Him. God made Adam with special care, like an artist, it took his time on every detail. That inspires me. What other things inspire me? People inspire, plants, flowers, colors, literature, my family, my dreams, my senses, I like to sit down and imagine exotic places the author is describing with awesome detail. I think to inspiration is everywhere.
Where do I create? Well everywhere and anywhere. Every spot in my home is fair game. from the dinning room table where I create tablescapes and my oldest child sits for hours drawing Pokemon to the kitchen where I make my soaps and candles.

Tablescapes

For today we have red roses tablescape. A little of the romantic side, red roses. Red roses says love to me. This is a tablescape that I would enjoy with my husband with a really special dinner. Do you take time to romance your husband? make him feel like the king of the castle and pamper him with a special tablescape and a great dinner.



At first I went with this white dishes and then decided for the red roses.

Celebrating Womanhood

What makes us unique as women. Is it our ability to love unconditionally. Can it be our sacrificial expressions of self denial when it comes to our children. Women are like a garden. If I have to chose a flower we would be roses. I really love roses. In my opinion roses add a bit of romance to the theme or better said they set the mood for romance. They are delicate, elegant, beautiful, soft, and smell good just like all of us women. Their shade or shape really does not matter as long as they are healthy. What is your favorite flower? How do they remind you of womanhood?

There is something to be said about pretty tables. Lets faces we all need to eat and how and we choose to eat can either make our days more pleasant and relaxing or it could be a part of our bland days. The same of the same. Boring!!! I don't want to live a bland life! I don't want the same every day. I want to life my life to the fullest and art in many forms adds that sparkle of my life. Here is one way to make dinner different.
