Flowers and a Magnolia Tree

So after winter and spring rains I have been able to see and clean out the flower beds from what ever did not survive the winter season. Let me tell you the flower beds are bare. So I went out to hunt for some flowers and i must confess it is overwhelming the amount of flowers to choose from.

I decided to go with a magnolia tree because I wanted a tree that would bring natural shade into my property with the purpose of energy conservation. Plus it is a native tree of this area. I have yet to decide what flowers I want for my flower beds. I have a lot more visits to different nurseries to make.  I am exited about the possibilities.

My sister had foward this picture on facebook. So i decided to try it out. I went to Goodwill got a pair of white shoes and added gold giltter to it. Take a look at the before and after pictures.

What is Vintage Clothing?

    I have always been fascinated with history. One of my favorite part of history is clothing and styles, women clothing and style to be more specific.  Antique clothing is referred to the clothing worn before 1920. The Vintage clothing era is between 1920 to 1980 ish to be more specific 20 years before this year. Today clothing is commonly known as contemporary.

   When purchasing vintage clothing consider that sizes in those times where different (go a size bigger) as obesity was uncommon before 1980.  Or consider sewing patters. remember that most vintage clothing has been warn before.  

 Vintage Inspired are pieces that are modern made but inspired by the vintage era. Sometimes mass produced in Asia they are in poorer quality that does of the original vintage era! You will find them on Ebay.

Beauty Product Review *Eye make up Remover*

I enjoy writting. I always wanted to write about is beauty products. Yes, I have a lot of them! As a dancer and as a women that loves to feel pretty and look amazing there are some products that help and some that really suck or they just really don't work for you!
My goal for every week is to write and bring you reviews on beauty products. That will include make up, hair products and skin products.
This week beauty product is  Mary kay eye make up remover. It is my favorite and the only eye make up remover I use! The best part its an Oil Free. It about $14. plus tax.

This product made on Allure magazine best beauty in 2011. Its key incredients are dimethicone and poloxamer and it removes eye makeup without leaving slick or greese in on your eye lids.

Jewlery from Israel

As I came back from my 3 weektrip in Israel a lot of people had welcomed me home, which made me feel missed, about also bombared me with questions.  I just came back from Israel. I love this country! I stayed at the "Negev" and in Tel Aviv on the weekends. One of the places a visited was the artist market near the Carmel Market is quiet an adventure. You will find lots of interesting artist and their products are just amazing. From jewlery, to paper clips the market is quite a remarcable place to visit. As an artist myself I could not help but to admire and of corse purchasing some items. Plus by purchasing them not only do I keep an awesome product I help stimulate Israel local economy.

Stupid Prejudice Agaist Women

I had read a cople of weeks ago a post on women over 30 being to old to have flower in their hair. Really! oh yeah I also read women over 25 should not have long hair. Long hair is for girls not for women. What! Long or short it should be a women desition weather or not she has a short hair style or a long hair style. A womens age should not determine that! is like the stupid prejudice of "big" women are not beautiful. Did you know that most man prefer "fuller" women than mega skinny women. Did you know that most of time this prejudices are authored by other women and not man. Why is that?

Curiosity killed the cat, as they say, so I welcome any opinions from both men and women on this subject. However, what ever your opinion my be in the matter, I will still continue to carry long hair and flowers in my hair. Yes, I am over 30! Proud of it!
